Wilder designed a series of scientific posters focusing on pharmacological topics such as the pathology of strokes and infections caused by drug injection. Using a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, he created visualisations and a presentation. In addition, Wilder used Dreamweaver to develop different websites, with the aim of providing education on critical pharmacological topics in an engaging and accessible way.
The judges appreciated the way in which Wilder had chosen to re-think research outside of the traditional essay format. While presenting infographics and diagrammatical explanations to complex subject matters, the judges also commented on how the visual styles chosen reflected the subject matter presented.
